These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any services provided by Beacon Grove Web Design ("Beacon Grove," "we," "our," or "us"). By using this website, requesting a quote, or engaging us for services, you agree to these terms unless otherwise stated in a separate written proposal or agreement.
1. Services
Beacon Grove provides creative and digital services that may include website design, website development, branding support, design strategy, digital assets, content direction, consultation, and related project services.
The exact scope of work, deliverables, timeline, revisions, and project responsibilities will be defined in a proposal, quote, estimate, statement of work, or written agreement before work begins. No service is considered committed until both parties agree to the scope and any required initial payment has been received.
- Brand identity and logo design
- Web design and development
- Print and packaging design
- Social media content creation
2. Project Scope and Revisions
Project pricing is based on the agreed scope at the time the proposal is approved. If the scope changes during the project, including additional pages, new functionality, major content changes, or expanded deliverables, we may revise the timeline, fee, or both.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, revision rounds apply only to the deliverables included in the original scope and should be used for refinements, not a full creative restart.
3. Client Responsibilities
To keep projects moving smoothly, clients agree to provide timely feedback, approvals, content, access credentials, and other materials reasonably needed for the work. Delays in communication, approvals, or required materials may affect delivery timelines.
4. Payments and Invoicing
We operate with transparency and fairness when it comes to billing. Most projects require a non-refundable advance payment, typically between 30% and 50%, before work begins. The remaining balance is generally due upon final delivery or completion of the project unless milestone billing has been agreed in writing.
For larger or longer-term projects, payments may be divided into milestone installments and listed in the project proposal. We may pause work, delay delivery, or withhold final files if invoices remain unpaid past their due date. Late fees may apply where permitted and where stated in the project agreement.
Payments may be accepted by bank transfer, electronic payment, or another approved method agreed to in advance.
5. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel a project at any time by providing written notice. However, any initial deposit or advance payment remains non-refundable. If work has already begun, you are responsible for payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date, including strategy, research, design time, development time, consulting, revisions, and any approved third-party costs or expenses.
Beacon Grove may suspend or terminate a project in limited circumstances, including non-responsiveness, abusive or inappropriate conduct, repeated delays that prevent progress, or failure to meet agreed payment terms.
- The deposit remains non-refundable.
- You will be invoiced for work completed up to the point of cancellation.
- You may not use unfinished, unpaid, or unapproved creative materials.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all preliminary concepts, drafts, mockups, strategy materials, source files, and unpaid work remain the property of Beacon Grove until payment has been made in full. Upon full payment, the client receives the rights to use the final approved deliverables for the intended business purpose, subject to any third-party licensing restrictions.
Beacon Grove retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio, marketing materials, and case studies unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Third-Party Tools and Services
Some projects may involve third-party services such as domain registrars, hosting providers, fonts, plugins, stock assets, analytics tools, or marketing platforms. Any fees, subscriptions, or usage terms associated with third-party services are the client's responsibility unless explicitly included in the project scope.
8. Confidentiality
During a project, you may share private business information, strategic ideas, credentials, or other sensitive materials with us. We treat such information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as reasonably necessary to perform the work, comply with legal obligations, or with your permission.
We also ask clients to respect Beacon Grove's internal processes, pricing, methods, and non-public materials. If needed, we are happy to enter into a mutual non-disclosure agreement before project work begins.
9. Warranties and Liability
We aim to provide professional, high-quality services, but we do not guarantee specific business outcomes, rankings, conversions, revenue, or uninterrupted operation of third-party services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beacon Grove will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or our services.
